It would be nice if links were posted forAmazon.ca.I live in Canada and can't buy ebooks off of us amazon. Just saying we like to read too. Alot authors don't post amazon.ca even Canadian authors. But it's extra work for people in Canada to work around to go to the Canadian site. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteHi Sophie, I hear you, and you are so right, most authors and bloggers don't do that and I can see it being frustrating for you. What I've started doing for my own books is to use a geo redirect, which will redirect the reader to the correct country based on where they are located. I do that on my website, http://clarissacarlyle.com, but haven't done it for blog posts yet.
ReplyDeleteThe easy workaround for now would be to click the US link, then change the URL from ".com" to ".ca". that should work. :)
Will not use Amazon as they do not allow direct download to desktop.
ReplyDeleteActually, they do. There is a Kindle desktop app you can use to read any Kindle book. I've used it and it's quite good. Here's the link. Let us know how it works for you. :)
DeleteThere's also the Kindle CloudReader, no desktop app needed.

Thanks, Kasey, you are right. The Kindle CloudReader works great too!
DeleteI think I have read almost all of these books! Loved them all!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome list I have read almost all of them and loved them all.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree about Jamie McGuire and Colleen Hoover's books, though I like Losing Hope and Walking Disaster, both from the man's point of view at least equally with the ones you've chosen. I also am totally enamored with Blair Babylon's Xan and Georgie series: Every Breath you Take, Wild Thing, Lay Your Hands on Me, and Nothing Else Matters. And equally moved by everything Laura Florand writes, but her Chocolate and Vie En Rose series are stunning explorations of the human heart, need, sensuality, defenses, and overcoming childhood wounds. The chocolatier, patisserie and perfume businesses in Paris and Provence make unforgettable and romantic sensual settings for her characters to work out their demons and love. Her writing is totally sensual both physically and emotionally.
ReplyDeleteWhen I clicked on the the book Amazon said the book was not yet available.
ReplyDeleteWhich book? You didn't say. There are 21 books listed, so it is possible one of the authors may have removed their book from Amazon.
